Someone once said that death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live. I could tell you who said it, but who the hell cares.

Falling in love is the easiest thing you're ever gonna do, it's the most exiting thing, the most powerful thing. That's why falling out off love hurts like hell.

"Every child come with a message that god is not yet discouraged of us".
- Haley James Scott
'It just feels so much worse when you expect more from somebody.' - Peyton Sawyer
Haley (to Quinn): They say you don't know what you've got til it's gone. I guess I didn't know how much I missed you until you were in my life every day.
"Remember it's only in the black of night that you can see the stars and those stars will lead you back home. So don't be afraid to make mistakes, to stumble, to fall, because most of the time the greatest rewards come from doing things that scare you the most. Maybe you'll get everything you wish for; maybe you'll get more than you ever could have imagined. Who knows where life will take you ? The road is long and in the end the journey is the destination."
" That’s where it gets you. Thinking you had a choice. Love finds you, Son, you don’t find love. It’s got a little bit to do with destiny, fate, what’s written in the stars. A lot to do with the simple fact most women are smarter than we are. And wily. Your sorry butt never had a chance. But if you want to believe you had a choice in the matter, I’d say you made a good one."
- Gus (to Lucas at the Airport before Peyton shows up to fly to Las Vegas and get married)

“Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will lie under the stars and listen to your heartbeat, or will stay awake just to watch you sleep... wait for the boy who kisses your forehead, who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats, who holds your hand in front of his friends, who thinks you're just as pretty without makeup on. One who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares and how lucky his is to have you.... The one who turns to his friends and says, 'that's her.'”
I feel like people get lost when they think of happiness as a destination. I’m always thinking that someday we will be happy, when we get that car,or that job, or that person in our life that will fix everything, but happines is a mood and it's a condition, not a destination,it's like being tired and hungry,it's not permanent,it comes and goes, and that's ok,and if people thought of it that way they would find happiness more often.
You know I've got this theory, there are two kinds of people in the world. There are lyric people and music people. You know, the lyrics people tend to be analytical. You know, all about the meaning of the song. They're the ones you see with the CD insert out like 5 minutes after buying it, pouring over the lyrics, int...erpreting the hell out of everything. Um, then there’s the music people. Who could care less for the lyrics as long as its just got like a good beat and you could dance to it. I don’t know, sometimes it might be easier to be a music girl and not a lyric girl. But since I’m not, let me just say this. Sometimes things find you when you need them to find you, I believe that. And for me its usually song lyrics.
Alex: Sure, help me. Clean me up. Make me immaculate. Fill me up with your promises and words and lies. Tears? Are they suppose to wash it all away? The I'll always love you's, the I don't blame you's, the forevers?
Quinn: All I know is that if I could see my mom, I would stay up all night talking to her.
